Congrats to the first winners of the regional One-Act Festivals!

Congratulations to Tredegar Thespians, who were the winners at the first of this year's One-Act Play festivals, held on the Saturday 21st March, in Blackwood.

 
Their production of Be My Baby written by Amanda Whittington, directed by Lorna Griffiths took the winners' title – the other plays performed were;
 
All Singing, All Dancing written by Graham J. Evans, performed by Blackwood Little Theatre Younger Generation
Directed by Sarah Jones & Peta Maidman
 
Fancying Sheep written by Vic Mills, performed by Blackwood Little Theatre
Directed by Neil Maidman
 
Individual awards at the festival were:
 
Best Youth Performance: Lily Jones as Helina in All Singing, All Dancing – BLT Younger Generation
Adjudicators Award: Darcey George as Magda in All Singing, All Dancing – BLT Younger Generation
Best Overall Performance: Catrin Owen as Queenie in Be My Baby – Tredegar Thespians
Best Presentation: Be My Baby – Tredegar Thespians
Best Director: Lorna Griffiths – Be My Baby
Best Youth Production: All Singing, All Dancing – BLT Younger Generation
Best Adult Production: Be My Baby – Tredegar Thespians
Overall Festival Winners: Be My Baby – Tredegar Thespians
