Theatre Summer School
The DAW annual Summer School is held in August, in Wales, and is the focus of our training programme.
It is an intensive week of theatrical learning, with like-minded people, and led by some of the country’s leading theatrical practitioners. Content is relevant to the amateur theatre community, but challenges existing habits and nurtures new approaches, techniques and practices.
Each year DAW selects a venue which offers the accommodation, workspaces, catering and social evening requirements which go into making a successful Summer School. We work hard in offering these elements at as low a price as possible.
Plans are currently underway for the 2012 Theatre Summer School which, we hope to be in a position to launch in February 2012. This year we will be offering an easier payment scheme in which you will be able to spread the payment of the course fee over several months. More details of that when we launch the course.
