The Drama Association of Wales exists to create opportunities for people to become actively involved in theatre activities which are rewarding, fun and of a high standard. For many years it also housed the largest specialist Drama lending library in the world.

We still have our telephone number 029 2045 2200 :  please do leave us a message and we will contact you at the first opportunity.  Thank you for your patience.

Please continue to send any post to us at our address at The Maltings, until further notice.

The 2014 DAW AGM

Information about the Drama Association of Wales AGM is currently winging its way to members.

For your information/diaries, the meeting will be held at the Brynafon Country House Hotel, South Street, Rhayader, Powys  LD6 6BL at 2pm on Saturday 15 November 2014.  We hope as many members as possible will be able to join us for the afternoon, and an update as to the DAW's plans for the future.

Members are warmly welcomed to join us for lunch before the AGM begins: information on how to book for this is being circulated with AGM packs.

Following the AGM there will be a talk from guest speakers: Phil Bowen and Sue Best from Willow Globe, Rhayader. Willow Globe is a scaled-down, living version of the Globe in London, crafted from willow. It is home to Shakespeare Link, which provides workshops and hosts community productions and professional tours. The Sunday Times wrote of the Willow Globe: "Perhaps Britain's most enchanting outdoor drama experience".

If you're a current member and have not received your AGM pack by Friday 17th October, please contact the office.
